Common Bidding Questions:

Placing a bid on an item you are interested in couldn’t be easier, when viewing the item details page you will have two areas from where you can place your bid, one next to the item details and a second at the bottom of the page.

To place your bid simply enter the amount you wish to bid e.g. "50,000" Please note no currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction currency.

Once done you will be asked to review your bid and make sure the bid amount is correct. To submit your bid simply press the “Place Bid” button.

If your bid is high enough to take the lead in the auction a confirmation message will be displayed to you, however if your bid has not taken the lead be it due to a higher proxy bid or not meeting the reserve price you will be invited to make a further bid.

You can also place a proxy bid, proxy bidding allows you to place your “High Bid”. At all times you will only pay the lowest required bid should you win the auction. For example, if the current/opening bid on an auction is 500.00 you can place a proxy bid of 2,000; Should you remain the only bidder you will only pay 500.00. However should the item receive other bids the site will automatically re-bid for you (upto 2,000 in this scenario) to ensure you remain in the lead.
The properties on this site are carfully screened and offered by real estate agents on behalf of their clients who can be Banks, Lending instutions, Federal Agencies, Sellers upside down on their mortgage looking to sell for less than is currently owed on the property, or highly motivated Sellers looking to sell to the highest bidder.
Most properties start with a minimum bid of $1,000. You decide the price you want to pay and bid accordingly.
No, there are no fees required to register. Each property does require a specific deposit once you are declared the winning bidder. The deposit will be applied and credited to your down payment. Each property will list the required deposit amount in the terms of the Auction. During the registration process, you may be required to input a credit card number. This is to allow our sellers to know you are a real person and of legal age to bid. Your card will never be charged unless you are a winning bidder and fail to complete the Sales Contract. In this case, depending on the circumstances, your credit card may be charged a $350 default fee. The deposit money will be returned immediately if the sale is not approved by the lender/bank or seller. Please read the complete terms and conditions of an auction before placing any bids.
Sniping occurs when a bidder waits until the last minute of an auction to place a bid to prevent other bidders adequate time to respond and bid again. This site has a built in feature to extend an Auction when last minute bidding occurs. This is the fairest way to ensure that every bid counts.
In most Auctions once the sale is approved, the buyer will have an additional 7 day contingency period to complete any additional inspections. If there are inspections already done they will be available in the Bidder's Package. A bidder’s package can be downloaded in the files section or picked up at the Auction Previews. In most Auctions any and all inspection requests will be honored, just ask the auctioneer to set up a time for your inspector. Please read the complete terms and conditions of an auction before placing any bids.

In general you can get a mortgage or loan to purchase almost any property. There are rare circumstances where a home doesn't qualify for a home loan, such as a property that is in extremely poor condition. Even then, there may be a rehab loan available. If you have any question on getting a home loan, contact the Auctioneer who will put you in contact with a Auction Certified Lender. Please read the complete terms and conditions of an auction before placing any bids.
Part of the terms of use for the Auctions on this site is an agreement to pay Bidwell Partners a transaction fee. This fee will be paid at close of escrow and is part of the buyer's closing costs to purchase the property. Please read the complete terms and conditions of an auction before placing any bids.
